Experteer Overview
As Director, Global Sustainability, you will lead Bain’s integral sustainability program, shaping reporting, governance and external positioning in response to regulatory and client expectations.

You’ll partner with senior leaders across functions to translate evolving sustainability requirements into practical actions that support the firm’s strategy.

You’ll own the reporting framework, disclosures, ISO 14001, and external engagements, ensuring credibility and alignment with business priorities.

This role offers the opportunity to drive impact across a global, remote team and industry networks, influencing how Bain demonstrates responsible leadership.

• Lead global sustainability reporting and disclosure across voluntary frameworks, regulatory requirements, client obligations, and stakeholder expectations
• Oversee annual disclosures (GRI, WEF, TCFD, UN Global Compact, Eco

Vadis, CDP, WBCSD, etc.)
• Direct materiality assessment process and strengthen governance, controls, and assurance readiness
• Manage client sustainability reporting requirements (carbon disclosures, supplier assessments, RFPs, client reporting)
• Monitor regulatory developments and guide firm responses in collaboration with Legal and other functions
• Shape sustainability narrative through reports, communications, website content, and client materials




• Engage with sustainability networks, reporting bodies, and external stakeholders
• Lead ISO 14001 environmental management certification program including audits and continuous improvement
• Lead, coach, and develop a remote global team; strengthen capabilities and cross-functional collaboration

Responsabilidades
• Bain consulting experience at Senior Manager level or equivalent in professional services or corporate environment
• Demonstrated passion for corporate sustainability through professional experience or leadership activities
• Strong understanding of ESG reporting, climate disclosure requirements, regulatory trends, and stakeholder expectations
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to develop clear sustainability narratives
• Ability to translate complex regulatory developments into practical business recommendations
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders across functions and geographies without direct authority
• Strong judgment balancing transparency, compliance, commercial considerations, and reputational risk
• Credibility to represent Bain with senior external stakeholders; willingness to travel as needed
• Collaborative, proactive, detail-oriented leadership style with emphasis on team development and operational excellence
