Experteer Overview
As Head of Financial Lines Iberia, you will lead the regional underwriting strategy and profitably grow a cross-functional portfolio.

You’ll steer cyber, FI, MLC, and PICom underwriting teams and oversee Pu0026amp;L, budgets, and forecasts in coordination with Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

You’ll align sales, claims, actuarial, and operations to deliver product development, reinsurance placement, and broker/client relationships.

This role offers influence across senior committees and opportunities to shape market-facing strategies in Iberia.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Define and oversee Financial Lines underwriting strategy for Iberia and monitor performance
• Lead and develop Cyber/FI/MLC/PICom underwriting teams with Pu0026L ownership
• Oversee Iberia FL day-to-day operations and align with Sales, Claims, Actuarial, and Finance
• Ensure profitable portfolio growth and execute go-to-market and channel strategies
• Allocate resources in collaboration with country GM and regional/intl FL functions
• Manage key broker and client relationships across Iberia
• Lead product development and adapt offerings to emerging opportunities




• Execute Iberia reinsurance strategy with European/International functions
• Represent FL in senior management committees and assist governance forums
• Act as a technical referral point for underwriting and contribute to thought leadership
• Escalate and serve as day-to-day contact for brokers/clients
• Oversee succession planning and performance management within FL Iberia

Responsabilidades
• Broad European insurance industry experience in multinational environments
• Proven track record of profitable growth in general insurance/financial lines in European markets
• Strong business acumen with analytical, quantitative, and process/system skills
• Ability to lead across multiple countries and complex organizations
• Fluency in Spanish and English; Portuguese a plus
• Knowledge of Iberia insurance market and external relationships
