For this reason, we are looking for a Portfolio Manager with at least 2 to 4 years of experience performing similar duties in NPL Secured Portfolios to join our Portfolio Management Team in Madrid.
What will you do on a day-to-day basis?
- Collaborate in defining top-down portfolio strategies and oversighting their implementation in loan and asset servicing, balancing risk against performance and centralizing communication with the investor, mostly private equity firms.
- Set the pace, priorities, and business plan for the portfolio(s) under management, mainly NPL/REO.
- The candidate would join a team of experienced professionals with essentially finance/banking and consulting backgrounds, with a valuation focus and a strategic view into asset management.
What knowledge and skills will you need to have to succeed in the position?
- Either an economics/business or engineering/math degree and finance background.
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
- Advanced user of Excel.
- Knowledge of access/SQL is desirable.
- Strong academic credentials and exceptional analytical flair.
- 2-4 years of experience.
