In this role you support the Finance team in Madrid, handling broad accounting processes with a focus on Canary Islands tax and local compliance. You will contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, audits, and compliance activities while improving data quality and processes. A key part of the role is ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting cross‑functional collaboration across Iberia. You will also coordinate data protection compliance with the Group Data Protection team across Spain, Portugal, and the Canary Islands.

Compensaciones / Ventajas
• Manage accounting activities for Canary Islands operations ensuring tax and regulatory compliance
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closings including reconciliations and IFRS adjustments
• Monitor receivables, supplier payments, project accounting and billing with WIP and margin analysis
• Contribute to budgeting, financial reporting,



KPI tracking and performance analysis
• Support audits, tax-related activities and compliance processes
• Collaborate with Finance and other departments to improve financial processes and data quality
• Serve as the primary contact for data protection matters across Spain, Portugal, and the Canary Islands

Responsabilidades
• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Several years of accounting/financial reporting experience with knowledge of Canary Islands tax and local regulations
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, closings, and reporting processes
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP Business One
• Strong analytical xqbhyrx skills and attention to detail
• Excellent planning and organizational abilities
• Proactive and collaborative mindset
• Fluency in Spanish and English
• Experience with IFRS, taxation, audits or compliance proc
