In this role you protect Symrise’s global technology landscape from cyber threats and lead the continuous improvement of security monitoring and incident response across IT, OT, cloud, and digital environments. You will drive a coordinated, evidence-based response to incidents and collaborate with IT, OT, and business teams to strengthen cyber resilience. You’ll shape modern threat detection, threat intelligence, and vulnerability programs while translating security risks into actionable insights for senior leadership. This is a hands-on, global role with a strategic perspective and a clear impact on digital transformation.

Compensaciones / Ventajas
• Lead the full lifecycle of cybersecurity incidents (detection to recovery)
• Develop and refine incident response playbooks, escalation processes, and forensic workflows
• Design, implement and operate security monitoring across IT, OT, cloud, endpoints, and infra

• Create detection rules and use cases for known and emerging threats
• Monitor threat landscape and assess vulnerabilities and business impact
• Coordinate with IT and OT to integrate new systems into security monitoring
• Support Mu0026A by integrating acquired systems into monitoring and IR frameworks
• Strengthen incident readiness through exercises, training and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with internal/external partners and provide strategic reporting to CISO and IT leadership
• Contribute to cyber resilience and secure digital transformation

Responsabilidades
• Experienced cybersecurity professional with strong background in security operations, incident response, and enterprise security monitoring
• Hands-on experience with EDR, SIEM, xqbhyrx and vulnerability management platforms
