As the Senior Back-End Engineer, you will design and develop software solutions, assist fellow engineers through peer coding and reviews, and lead discussions on development approaches and best practices. Design and develop back-end software solutions deployed in cloud-based environments at scale.
Maintain the performance, scalability, and security of software applications, ensuring they meet high standards of reliability for clients.
Participate in design workshops with architects, review sessions with software engineers,



and support engineering managers and product owners in driving SDLC processes.
Collaborate with peers to ensure software engineering best practices are followed properly and efficiently.

Strong hands-on coding capabilities with Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot, including Spring Security, request interceptors, background/asynchronous jobs, and custom annotations.
Strong knowledge of relational databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL), schema versioning (Flyway), and ORM frameworks (Hibernate/JPA).
Experience with API design and cross-service communication, including REST APIs, messaging, JSON serialization, API management, and integration patterns.
Experience with build, CI/CD, containerization, and deployment, using Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines), Docker, and Kubernetes/AKS.
