Job Purpose
The Senior Procurement Category Manager Marketing is responsible for leading the Global Marketing Procurement program and transforming Marketing spend from a fragmented, locally managed model into a structured, transparent, performance-driven global framework.

The role owns the strategic sourcing, governance, supplier optimization, and value creation agenda across integral Marketing categories including Events & Exhibitions, Agencies (Creative/Media/Digital), Training & Education, Promotional Materials, Printing, Translations,Commercial digitalisationtools/applicationsand Marketing related professionalservices.

The position partners with Global and Regional Marketing leadership tooptimizeCHF 100M spend, deliversignificant costefficiencies, reducesupplierfragmentation, improvecommercialtermsandestablishbest practicestandards.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
Strategic CategoryManagement:

Lead in coordination withstakeholder theMarketing-Procurement program to optimise theglobal spend in the Marketing subcategories.





Develop and implement strategic plans for Marketingsubcategories, aligning with overall organizational goals.

Analyse market best practices andtrends, conduct spendanalysis andidentifyopportunities for consolidation and costefficiencies.

Supplier Optimization & Commercial Excellence:

Supplier Relationship Management

Optimise supplier base, improve commercial terms, negotiate MSAs, implement RFP discipline.

Implement preferred supplier frameworks

Collaborate with suppliers to drive innovation, enhance service levels, and optimizecosts.

Sourcing Strategy Execution:

Follow strategic sourcing approach tomaximize valuedelivery, considering total cost of ownership.

Lead competitive bidding processes, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with procurement policies.

Cost Optimization:

Identifyopportunities for cost reduction withinMarketsubcategories.

Implement initiatives to optimizespending, improve efficiency, and achieve budgeta
