This Full time on site position offers great opportunities for career growth.Job ResponsibilitiesThe Assistant Fire Chief of Operations is responsible for the operational readiness and functionality of the Fire and Emergency Services (F&ES;) department, ensuring compliance with fire prevention standards, safety protocols, and mission requirements.Providing leadership and management for fire department operations on the island of Diego Garcia, promoting a safe and effective firefighting, rescue, and emergency response team.Leading fire prevention efforts, including inspections, compliance assessments, and community outreach activities to ensure the safety of personnel and facilities.Overseeing the development and implementation of emergency action plans,
