The role is accountable for improving safety outcomes across all activities in the region, including construction, service operations, warehousing, office locations, and contractor-managed activities. The Head of HSE partners closely with the Regional President, Head of P&C; and regional leadership team to ensure HSE is embedded in decision-making, operational execution, workforce planning, contractor management, and business performance.
The Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
function for MED is responsible for deploying the regional HSE strategy and building a culture where safety is a business priority and a key enabler of operational performance.
Supporting all activities across the region, including construction, service operations, warehousing, office locations, and contractor managed activities, the function is focused on continuously improving safety outcomes and ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental performance.
Working closely with the Regional President, Head of P&C;, and the Regional Leadership Team, the HSE function helps integrate safety into decision making, daily operations, workforce planning, contractor oversight, and overall business results, supporting a safe, sustainable, and effective organisation.
