NoOffer DescriptionThe successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary and highly collaborative environment within the Laboratory of Neuroimaging and Biomarkers of Inflammation and will receive training in advanced experimental neuroscience and neuroimaging techniques under the supervision of the Principal Investigator of the project, Dr. Abraham Martín. The project will investigate neuronal activity, neurovascular dysfunction,



and the early biological events occurring during the hyperacute phase of ischemic stroke.RequirementsSpecific RequirementsBachelor's and Master's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or a related Life Sciences discipline.Strong academic record.Previous laboratory experience.Strong interest in neuroscience, biomedical imaging, and translational research.Ability to work in an international and multidisciplinary environment.Good command of written and spoken English.Previous experience in experimental neuroscience, animal models, or neuroimaging will be considered an advantage, although training in all project-specific techniques will be provided.Additional InformationWe offer a 4-year predoctoral contract as part of the project PID2025-174046OB-I00, "In Vivo Imaging of Hyperacute Events Following Ischemic Stroke", funded by MICIU/AEI/10.13039/501100011033 and FSE+.Number of offers available 1 Company/Institute Achucarro Basque Center for Neuroscience Country Spain State/Province Biscay City Leioa Postal Code E-48940
