The selected candidate will be part of an energetic and dynamic work atmosphere in offices located in the centre of Barcelona, Diagonal.ResponsibilitiesWorking with all parts of the AdTech stack, including ad delivery systems, OS and network level optimizationSetting the direction of the technical development of our brand-new platformWorking in public cloud environment (Linux ecosystem)Ensuring that systems are scalable and reliable to handle increased traffic and provide uninterrupted ad deliveryContinuously optimizing and improving existing systems and technologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of digital advertising campaignsWorking collaboratively with cross-functional teams,
including marketers, designers, data analysts, and product managers, to align platform development with business goalsDetermining causes for the most complex software issues and develop practical, efficient, and permanent technical solutionsGuiding our Software Engineers to develop their skills and knowledge through the provision of advice, mentoring and training opportunitiesCreating and overseeing high-level KPIs for the IT departmentRequirementsMinimum 5 years of experience as a software developerExcellent level of EnglishIn-depth knowledge of the ad-tech industry, especially ad-serving systemsExperience in Golang, Scala or C would be a plusKnowledge and experience with programmatic advertising, including familiarity with demand-side platforms (DSPs), supply-side platforms (SSPs), and real-time bidding (RTB)Ability to understand and anticipate business needs and provide technical solutions
