Offer Description
We are looking for a PhD Candidate in African Swine Fever (ASF) Immunology and Vaccinology to join the Animal Health Program team, based in IRTA-CReSA (Bellaterra, Barcelona, Spain). We offer the opportunity to be part of an organization with a dynamic, collaborative work environment focused on professional development.
The selected candidate will join the ASF Research Group and will develop a PhD project within a national research project funded by the Spanish State Research Agency (AEI). The research activities will focus on the immunology and vaccinology of ASF,



contributing to the development and evaluation of innovative vaccination strategies and to the understanding of protective immune responses against ASF virus infection. The candidate will work in a multidisciplinary environment combining immunology, microbiology, virology and vaccinology.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Contribute to the scientific and technical activities of the African swine fever research line.
Participate in the design, planning and execution of experimental studies related to ASF immunology and vaccinology.
Perform laboratory work including immunological, molecular and virological techniques.
Collect, organize and analyse experimental data.
Conduct literature reviews and stay updated on advances in ASF research.
Contribute to the preparation of scientific reports, conference communications and peer-reviewed publications.
