Senior SAP Basis Admin Were looking for a Senior SAP Basis Admin to join our team in Madrid, Spain in a hybrid working mode. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and ongoing management of SAP environments, including S/4HANA and BW systems. You will ensure system stability, performance optimization, and security, collaborating with functional and technical teams to support complex projects and critical business processes for a leading integral wealth management organization. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge SAP technologies, manage high-availability systems, and contribute to digital transformation initiatives in a dynamic, highly regulated environment.
Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems, including S/4HANA and BW Plan and implement SAP upgrades, patches,
and enhancements Monitor and optimize system performance to maintain operational efficiency Troubleshoot and resolve SAP Basis-related issues in a timely manner Administer SAP BTP, including Subaccount and space management Develop and manage backup and disaster recovery strategies Design and deploy custom roles and composite profiles using PFCG and XAMS for security compliance Maintain comprehensive documentation of all configurations, processes, and operational procedures Collaborate closely with functional and technical teams to support SAP deployments and projects Ensure compliance with security policies, corporate standards, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 5+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP Basis Administrator Proven experience with SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA, and related SAP products Expertise in both Unix/Linux and Windows environments for system administration Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager and cloud connectors, including BTP managemen
