We are looking for an experienced Sales professional to join an international renewable energy company operating in Romania. The role focuses on developing new B2B business opportunities and delivering decentralized renewable energy solutions, with a primary focus on solar PV for commercial and industrial clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full commercial cycle, from identifying and approaching potential clients to negotiating and closing contracts. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven professional with a strong understanding of the renewable energy market and a proven track record in B2B sales.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new B2B commercial opportunities within the Romanian market, with a focus on commercial and industrial clients.
- Prospect, approach and build relationships with key decision-makers, including C-level, financial, energy and operational stakeholders.
- Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, from initial contact and qualification through proposal, negotiation and contract signature.
- Develop tailored commercial solutions based on clients' energy needs, including CAPEX, leasing and PPA models.
- Present and negotiate technical and commercial proposals with clients and stakeholders.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and ensure accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Monitor market developments, competitors and regulatory changes within the Romanian renewable energy sector.
- Work closely with engineering, legal, project management and other internal teams to ensure the feasibility and successful delivery of projects.
- Develop long-term relationships with clients and act as a trusted commercial partner throughout their energy transition journey.
- Contribute to the company's growth strategy and identify new market opportunities.
