IRTA in Spain invites applications for a PhD candidate to join the Sustainability in Biosystems Programme, based at IRTA Torre Marimon. The project CARBON-PLAST investigates microplastics effects on soil carbon and nitrogen cycling, greenhouse gas emissions, and microbial communities in a Mediterranean agricultural setting.
Selected candidates will design a doctoral plan, conduct lab and field work, and contribute to publications while collaborating with a renowned, international research team.
