Super Micro Computer, Inc. is a global leader in high-performance server and storage solutions. We are seeking a motivated Hardware Design Engineer to join our engineering team in San Jose.

The successful candidate will participate in the design and development of enterprise server motherboards and GPU platforms, working closely with cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle. Responsibilities include hardware design, system validation, debugging, customer technical support,



and production support.

This position also requires domestic and international business travel to support customer issues, contract manufacturers, product validation, engineering collaboration, and new product introduction activities.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform board-level and system-level debugging and analyze customer-reported issues and identify root causes.
Design and develop enterprise server motherboards and add-on card products, including schematic capture, BOM creation, debugging, and product validation.
Review PCB layouts and collaborate with layout engineers to ensure design quality, manufacturability, and compliance with hardware design guidelines.
Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, including product specifications, BOMs, validation reports, test pro
