We are looking for an experienced and highly knowledgeable ESAT and TARA Tutor to join our university counselling team. The tutor will provide personalised one-to-one online preparation and work closely with the wider team to coordinate each student’s preparation and progress.
What would you do?
Plan and deliver personalised one-to-one lessons tailored to each student’s level, target universities and specific preparation needs.
Prepare students for all relevant areas, sections and modules of the ESAT and TARA examinations.
Provide comprehensive support across the different subject areas assessed,
including Mathematics and the relevant scientific disciplines, such as Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
Identify students’ strengths and areas for improvement through diagnostic assessments, practice exercises and analysis of past performance.
Design and use educational materials, mock examinations and exam-specific strategies to improve students’ understanding, accuracy, time management and overall performance.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, lesson content and student progress.
Provide regular and clear feedback to students, families and the university counselling team.
Share relevant resources and recommendations for independent study between sessions.
Coordinate with the university counselling team and participate in meetings when required to ensure a consistent and effective preparation strategy.
