This Position Requires You To:
To assist the Team Leader to provide a caring,
secure environment, through individual attention and group activities, and to organise age appropriate activities for children aged between 4 and 12.
Your Personal Qualities Should Include:
Excellent communication skills, with children, colleagues, advisors and parents/carers.
Patience, punctuality, reliability and trustworthiness, A positive approach to inclusive practice, with children, parents/carers and colleagues. Enthusiasm for working with children and young people.
Essential Qualifications:
A positive approach to gaining further qualifications, and continuous professional development. Some understanding of the importance of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene in the workplace. To hold or be working towards a minimum level 2 certificate in childcare or Playwork.
