At LaFinteca, we’re building the future of payments in LATAM - and we’re looking for a Compliance Specialist to help us ensure smooth onboarding processes, strong AML practices, and regulatory alignment across multiple markets.

Responsibilities:

Manage partner & merchant onboarding: Oversee onboarding processes end-to-end, ensuring compliance with internal policies and AML standards.
Conduct compliance reviews: Verify documentation, perform risk assessments, and support the CCO with merchant profile analysis.
Support regulatory analysis: Monitor and analyze financial and AML regulations across LATAM and potential new markets.
Improve compliance frameworks: Assist with updating policies, conducting regulatory assessments, and supporting implementation projects.
Coordinate across teams: Work closely with Legal, Partnerships, Finance, Product, Operations, and Sales to ensure compliant operations.




Maintain operational excellence: Keep Jira processes updated and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Your Profile:

Experience in Compliance, AML, onboarding, legal, or regulatory analysis.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Comfortable working in fast-paced international environments.
Interest in fintech, payments, and LATAM markets.
Fluent in English and Spanish.
Comfortable with Confluence, Jira, Slack.
