Who we need
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Additional Learning Support team as an Exam Access Arrangement Apprentice. The right applicant will possess a team orientated focus, open and approachable to our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) learners and have the ability to liaise with internal and external professionals working with individual learners.
This is a fantastic opportunity to learn while you work, gaining hands-on experience in a busy and supportive environment. You'll develop your administrative, communication and organisational skills,



working alongside experienced colleagues who will support your learning and professional growth every step of the way.
Main areas of responsibility:
To provide and maintain a high-quality cross-College administrative system for supporting and tracking exam access arrangement processes.
To facilitate the application and approval of exam access arrangements for students across the college to meet Awarding Body deadlines in liaison with the Exams Officer
To liaise with learners and teaching staff in a timely and professional manner to initiate a timely and responsive application for Exam Access Arrangements
To develop an understanding of the JCQ regulations and attend any relevant courses to gain information with regards to Exam Access Arrangements, as required by the JCQ
To ensure that learners have approval for appropriate Access Arrangements in place for their exams within the regulations of the Awarding Bodies
