As Sr Quality Engineer - Customer Liaison at Adient, you will bridge customer JIT/Trim production with our internal teams to ensure quality improvements. You’ll analyze on-site issues, verify actions, and coordinate sorting and feedback loops across OEM, JIT and Trim plants. You’ll support resident engineers with technical knowledge and establish clear boundaries for accountability. This role focuses on driving customer satisfaction and robust quality processes in a general automotive context.

• Perform on-site problem analyses and provide feedback to Trim plant
• Verify improvement actions at JIT plants
• Coordinate sorting activities at JIT plants
• Support Trim resident engineers with technical knowledge and feedback loops
• Set up boundary book between OEM, JIT, and Trim plant
• Track KPIs: customer satisfaction JIT, IRPPM, ICPPM, Firewall headcount JIT
• Conduct firewall audits at JIT and follow up on action plans
• Inspector Gauge Ru0026R evaluation and inspector training
Responsabilidades
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical qualification xqbhyrx
• Proven experience in automotive quality management
• Experience in customer quality management with OEMs and Tier 1 customers
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with structured root cause analysis
• Knowledge of VDA 6.3, 8D, FMEA, Poka-Yoke, Ishikawa, 5 Why
• Fluent English (spoken and written); German a plus
• Willingness to travel ~70%
