Location We are looking for a Senior Engineering/ Group Manager, based in Barcelona, Spain (hybrid mode of working).
Role Summary As a Senior Engineering/ Group Manager, you are overall responsible for the outcomes delivered by the Runtime Platform domain - the technical foundation of our future Linux-based platform, covering infrastructure, platform services, and application platform services.
You will lead high-performing teams, ensuring both the quality and speed of delivery by driving effective prioritization, refinement, and execution. As a people leader, you will develop, motivate, and empower individuals and teams, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and strong performance.
In this role, you will oversee engineering operations end-to-end, remove blockers to enable team success, and ensure transparency across stakeholders through clear communication and collaboration.

Provide Engineering Process Oversight
Manage Risk within engineering operations
Support strategic Budgeting decisions and contribute to annual budget planning discussions, highlighting anticipated headcount, tooling and infrastructure needs

Manage Capacity Planning
Promote Values and Cultural Alignment
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering or an equivalent work experience in a related field.
Engineering background – e.g. Software Engineer or Quality Assurance Engineer.
Technical understanding of building distributed architecture (Linux) infrastructure on hardware.
Strong understanding of SDLC and modern software development frameworks and tools.
Proven track record of successfully leading the development of software products from conception to delivery.
Experience with the Agile software development frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and a
