At Hitachi Energy, we are establishing and developing an Operation Center of Excellence in Madrid, Spain (ESOPC) within the Grid & Power Quality Solutions business in Europe (HBUEU).
HVDC is now looking for a Project Lead Engineer (f/m/d) who is ready to take on the overall technical responsibility in HVDC projects and tenders. In this role, you will utilize your technical expertise and take the lead on projects and tenders where you will have the responsibility to coordinate global project teams. The activities associated with this role include, but are not limited to, engineering and design, planning, and risk assessments. Ensure complete and multidisciplinary information in engineering development




Lead the development of new solutions for complex projects and challenges
Drive the completion of all engineering activities on projects
Provide technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities
Prepare project documents within budget, scope, and contract
Maintain technical quality in contracts, documents, and deliveries
Academic degree in Engineering (e.g., Electrical Engineering or similar)
Ability to take a leading role and deliver quality results
Fluency in English and Spanish, both verbally and in writing, is required. Adaptable Working
