In this role you will support the International Indirect Tax Compliance team in Barcelona, ensuring accurate EMEA VAT returns and related filings. You will work closely with cross-functional colleagues to map VAT processes, identify improvements, and drive automation and in-housing projects that scale with business growth. You’ll handle VAT registrations, Intrastat declarations, and data provision for audits, contributing to a fast-paced, collaborative tax function. This position offers an opportunity to shape VAT compliance in a multinational environment and support the onboarding of new entities.

Compensaciones / Ventajas
• Prepare, analyse, review and submit EMEA VAT returns and related filings
• Prepare, analyse, review and submit Intrastat/EC sales declarations as necessary
• Organise VAT registrations across various jurisdictions




• Assist with VAT compliance queries from Amazon businesses operating across EMEA
• Assist in mapping VAT processes and identify areas for improvement and solutions for VAT issues
• Prepare and review month-end VAT account reconciliations
• Provide internal and external audit support, including data analysis
• Provide VAT compliance support to colleagues across the business and in accounting groups
• Contribute to Tax Requirement Documents for tech teams
• Lead and participate in cross-functional projects with a focus on automation and xqbhyrx in-housing
• Support business growth and onboarding of new entities to VAT compliance processes

Responsabilidades
• Strong understanding of tax compliance principles, regulations, and reporting requirements across jurisdictions
• Knowledge of VAT in EU/UK
• Experience in a compliance-focused tax role in a multinational or professional organization
• Bachelor's degree
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
