RESPONSIBILITIES

The main tasks of the jobholder will be:
- Provide direct technical support and guidance throughout every development stage for the tactical systems under ESAOGEL responsibility.
- Define and evaluate operational data for the Spanish Air Force through specialized software, test rigs, and flight tests.
- Support the customer on-site during national and international tactical military exercises (e.g., Nube Gris).
- Analyze operational performance, review technical documentation, and ensure aircraft weapon systems requirements are fully met.
- Collaborate daily with military stakeholders and international partners to implement urgent operational data updates and patches.

SKILLS

- Education: Degree in Engineering (Telecommunication, Aeronautical, Electrical, Computer Science) or a related technical discipline.
- Experience: Professional experience in Avionics Systems, Electronic Warfare, or Electro-Optics.



Junior profiles with strong technical fundamentals and motivation are highly welcome.
- Technical knowledge: Basic understanding of Electro-Optical/Infra-Red optics and spectrum propagation. Familiarity with test rigs, avionics weapon systems, or laboratory test equipment.
- Languages: Advanced level in English.
- Soft skills: High motivation to learn, passion for deep technical topics, high adaptability to a unique military environment, and strong networking skills.
- Requirements: Availability to travel (approximately one week every two months) and possession of a personal vehicle, which is a mandatory requirement for daily access to the Air Base facilities.
- Valuable / Nice to have: Software development skills, AI technology awareness, or previous experience defining mission and weapon data for flight tests.
