An opportunity for a Material Services Manager has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid).

RESPONSIBILITIES

The main tasks of the jobholder will be:
- Lead and manage Performance-Based Logistics (PBL) and In-Service Support contracts, ensuring full compliance with material support requirements (spares and repairs) for portfolio customers.
- Act as the primary interface between Customer Services Regional Directors and Material Services, ensuring clear reporting, alignment of strategies, and governance representation across programmes.
- Coordinate and drive execution within Material Services Centres of Competence (Operations, Planning, Logistics Engineering) to secure on-time delivery, Entry Into Service (EIS) support, and milestone achievements.
- Steer financial performance and cost evolution for the Material Services perimeter, managing budgets, operating plans, and cost-reduction initiatives to meet EBIT and revenue commitments.
- Establish proactive End-to-End risk management and issue resolution processes,



escalating critical roadblocks and implementing recovery plans with top management.
Ensure business integrity and compliance across all contract perimeters, proactively identifying non-compliance risks to protect the company's reputation and sustained growth.
