Job Description:An opportunity for a *Junior Armament Systems & Weapon Integration Engineer *has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid).The successful candidate will ensure that all systems meet the highest levels of performance, safety, and regulatory compliance throughout their entire lifecycle.*System Development: *Manage the full product lifecycle-from concept to retirement- ensuring full compliance with regulatory frameworks and delivering systems that consistently met complex program requirements.
*Technical Analysis:* Perform trade-off analyses, validate architectures, and lead performance analysis to optimize system solutions.
*System Design*: Define architectures for Armament Control Systems, Stores Management Systems, and Weapon Bay/Carriage systems in cooperation with suppliers or partners. Interface & Requirement Management:* Define interfaces and technical requirements across system, subsystem, and equipment levels, ensuring coherent integration and conducting impact analysis.
*Integration Activities: *Lead the technical integration of weapons, stores,



and armament systems by developing Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and performing technical assessments of both weapon-level and system-level architectures to ensure seamless operational capability within the aircraft ecosystem."
*Testing & Qualification*: Develop system test benches and define ground/flight test requirements to support qualification and certification.
*Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.
~*High adaptability to work on new topics, new business and in a networking mode.
~*Languages:* Advanced level in English & Spanish (both written & spoken).
~*Acknowledgement of DOORS, Matlab/Simulink, C++.
