Job Description: An opportunity for a *Landing Gear Engineer* has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in *Getafe (Madrid)*.
The selected candidate will join the *Landing Gear Design Office Team* within the Military Air Systems Engineering organization.
Our multidisciplinary and multicultural team is responsible for the end-to-end engineering life cycle of landing gear systems across military platforms. You will face key technical challenges in qualification, certification, and in-service support, ensuring our products meet the highest safety, operational, and industrial performance standards.
Design and specify* Landing Gear systems, subsystems, components, and structural architectures according to safety, quality, cost, and operational requirements.
* *Perform load, stress, and risk analyses* to qualify and certify Landing Gear modules throughout the system lifecycle.
* *Drive system integration and V&V;* (Verification & Validation) processes, ensuring full alignment with A-400M program configuration and safety standards.
* *Provide expert engineering support* to MAP (Mise Au Point),



Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and customer support functions.
* *Education:* Aeronautical Engineering Degree or a related engineering discipline.
* *At least 10 years of experience in the Aeronautical and Military industries.
* At least 5 years of experience within a *Landing Gear Design Office (DO)*.
* *Deep expertise in Landing Gear systems design, load/stress analysis, specification generation, and certification.
* Practical knowledge of A-400M configuration, continued airworthiness, and MAP support.
* CATIA V5, ICC/APS, DMS, SMART, and AIRNAV*.
* *Natural ability to work in a multinational, multidisciplinary, and networking environment.
* *Languages:* Advanced / Fluent level in English.
