Role Description The Coordinador/a Extraescolares STEM will coordinate and deliver STEM-focused extracurricular activities for students, ensuring engaging, hands-on learning experiences aligned with STEAM competencies. This contract role is on-site in Sitges, Vilanova i la Geltrú and Castelldefels and involves planning sessions, preparing materials, and facilitating workshops that may incorporate robotics, basic programming, and creative problem-solving. The coordinator will manage groups of students, maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment,



and communicate regularly with school staff and families about program content and student progress. Day-to-day tasks include adapting activities to different age groups, monitoring participation, collecting feedback, and collaborating with the IGNITE team to continuously improve the extracurricular offering.

Qualifications:

Experience in STEM or STEAM education, ideally in extracurricular or workshop settings, with the ability to design and facilitate practical activities for children and adolescents.
Background in education, science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or related fields (e.g., robotics, coding, educational technology) and interest in applying these disciplines creatively.
Strong group management and classroom facilitation skills, including the ability to engage diverse learners and foster an inclusive, respectful environment.
Effective communication skills in English; additional proficiency in Catala
