About the company
A US multinational in international payments and currency risk, working with corporates across Europe. The company is opening the Czech and Polish markets, and this is one of the first commercial hires in the region.
The opportunity
We are looking for an FX Sales professional to win new business in Central Europe.
You will work alongside the dealing desk to bring in corporate clients with international payment and currency risk needs. You will start from one of the company's existing European offices and move to a local office as the market grows. You will report to the Country Manager.
What you will do:
- Identify and win corporate clients with cross border payment and FX exposure
- Sell at finance director, treasurer and CFO level, understanding how each company moves money and where it loses it
- Run the full commercial cycle, from first contact to signed client
- Work side by side with the dealer who prices and executes for your accounts
- Help define the target market: sectors, company size, approach
What we are looking for
- Commercial experience selling B2B,
with exposure to FX, payments or financial services
- A track record of hitting targets and building a pipeline from nothing
- Czech or Polish, plus English at professional working level
- Willingness to relocate temporarily to the launch office in Europe, with support from the company
- Ambition and resilience: this is new market development, not account management
It will be a plus if
- You have sold FX, payments or treasury solutions before
- You already have contacts in the corporate or finance world
- You speak German
