Team / division overview
DWS Corporate Functions Technology provides technology solutions for corporate functions including Finance, Risk, ALM and AFC. This role sits within the SIMS application team, supporting a financial data warehouse that provides management KPIs, quarterly and annual reporting, and other core business outputs. The current SIMS platform consists of an Oracle database and a Java web front-end.
This position is focused on the database engineering and data platform side of SIMS. It is complementary to roles focused on reporting and business-facing outputs: while the reporting role focuses more on how data is presented, consumed and used by stakeholders, this role focuses on how d
