About the Client
Our client is a general technology and communications organisation providing mission-critical digital infrastructure and services to the aviation industry. Its technology supports airlines, airports and other aviation stakeholders across a highly distributed international environment, where reliability, scalability and operational resilience are essential.
As part of a major technology modernisation initiative, the business is evolving its platforms for monitoring, observability, provisioning and configuration management. This role will contribute to that transformation, working with engineering teams across Europe and North America.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Senior System Engineer to contribute to the modernisation of next-generation Datalink observability, monitoring, provisioning and configuration management platforms.
Based in Barcelona and working collaboratively with an international engineering team, you will contribute specialist technical expertise to the definition, architecture, design and implementation of complex software and platform capabilities.
The role requires someone who can operate autonomously, bring proven industry experience to complex technical challenges, and contribute across the full engineering lifecycle from concept and system definition through to production implementation.
Contractor Working Arrangement
The engagement is structured around the delivery of defined technical services and project outcomes.
Due to the collaborative and operational nature of the project, the services are expected to include approximately three days per week working from the project site in
