In this role you will own end-to-end category management for equipment subcategories within the EMI team to support Amazon’s global fulfillment and logistics network. You will develop and execute sourcing strategies, drive cost savings, and manage supplier relationships, partnering with engineering, safety, finance, and operations to align procurement with product development and business needs. You will lead strategic sourcing events, negotiate contracts, and optimize total cost of ownership for multi-million dollar equipment programs. This is a cross-functional, data-driven role with a clear impact on margins, supplier performance, and supply chain resilience.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Develop and execute category strategies for assigned equipment subcategories, including market analysis and supplier landscape assessments
• Lead competitive sourcing events (RFx), negotiate contracts,



and drive supplier award decisions for large equipment programs
• Own supplier relationships end-to-end, from scouting to performance management
• Identify and deliver year-over-year cost savings via negotiation, value engineering, and specification optimization
• Collaborate with Engineering, Safety, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations to align sourcing with business requirements and timelines
• Maintain catalog accuracy, drive catalog coverage, and ensure procurement compliance across regions
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks including single/sole source dependencies and capacity constraints
