base salary of £42,921.87 , (Inclusive of night allowance) complimented by an average OTE ranging from £43,000 to £53,000.

Where you’ll work
You’ll be part of the Luton cluster, covering areas like Luton, Dunstable, Houghton Regis, Harpenden, St Albans, Hemel Hempstead, Tring, Amersham, Rickmansworth, Chorleywood.

You’ll be part of the Northampton cluster, covering areas like Northampton, Kettering, Corby, Wellingborough, Daventry, Towcester, Rushden.
We organise work locally so you can start and finish at home, focusing your day on getting members back on the road in your local area.

What you’ll need:

Either :
NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience
or
5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
and




A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

As a Roadside Technician within our Patrol division, you’ll deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK. Whether it’s a flat battery, tyre change, or complex fault-finding, you’ll provide quick, confident solutions and reassurance when our members need it most.

You’ll start and end your day at home, tackling challenges head-on and making a real impact on the roadside - combining your technical expertise with outstanding member service.

We’ll set you up for success from day one, with your own RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools, and diagnostic kit all provided.
