A leading company in the chemical industry based in Barcelona is seeking a Strategic Commercial Director to lead and develop its commercial and marketing activities, driving sustainable growth and strengthening the company's position in domestic and international markets.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute commercial strategies to strengthen market position, expand business opportunities and drive profitable growth through effective commercial planning execution.
- Lead, coach and develop the commercial team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring the achievement of commercial targets.
- Monitor business performance through key indicators and ensure the effective execution of commercial plans across territories and customer segments.
- Build and strengthen long-term relationships with key customers, identifying opportunities, addressing business needs and leading negotiations with strategic accounts.
- Drive market analysis and business intelligence activities to identify emerging trends, new applications and market opportunities for the company's product portfolio.




- Provide strategic leadership across commercial and marketing initiatives to strengthen the company's market presence and support business growth.
- Ensure a consistent corporate image and communication strategy across all business functions and customer touchpoints.

Requirements:
- University degree in scientific, engineering o business-related disciplines.
- MBA or additional studies in Business Management, Sales and/or Marketing would be highly valued.
- Proven experience in a senior commercial leadership role within a B2B industrial environment.
- Demonstrated success in leading, developing and motivating commercial teams.
- Fluent English is essential, additional languages will be considered an advantage.
- Availability to travel nationally and internationally.
