We’re working with a large international financial services organisation that is continuing to invest heavily in its data, cloud and AI capabilities.

They’re looking for a

Data Architect

to help shape and evolve modern enterprise data platforms across a complex integral environment.

The initial focus will be on a

Snowflake-based data estate , so strong Snowflake experience is particularly relevant. The wider organisation also works with technologies including

Databricks , so there is scope to move across different platforms and entities over time.

The role
You’ll work across modern data architecture, cloud platforms, governance and data products.

Your responsibilities will include:
Designing and evolving enterprise-scale

Snowflake architectures
Defining architecture standards, technical patterns and reference designs
Designing end-to-end data flows across ingestion, transformation, analytics and downstream consumption
Supporting scalable cloud data platform design, primarily within





Azure
Defining standards around

data products, data contracts, lineage, quality and lifecycle management
Working with engineering teams on data modelling, integration and platform design
Supporting data governance, security and compliance requirements
Reviewing technical designs and providing architectural guidance
Working closely with Data Engineers, Architects and senior stakeholders across the wider organisation
Contributing to future platform initiatives that may include

Databricks, AI and GenAI

What we’re looking for
Ideally, you’ll bring:
5+ years of experience across

Data Architecture, Data Engineering or Enterprise Architecture
Strong hands-on knowledge of

Snowflake

but other enterprise systems like

Databricks

is ok
Experience designing modern cloud data platforms
Good knowledge of

Microsoft Azure
Strong understanding of data modelling, integration and platform architecture
