Summary:
The Pricing & Product Specialist will be responsible for managing RFQ activities and driving strategic business projects across segments within Precision Solutions.
The position requires strong analytical capabilities, cross-functional leadership, commercial acumen, and excellent organizational skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Pricing & RFQ Management
- Respond to RFQ’s received through the CRM system for assigned business lines.
- Coordinate with manufacturing plants and internal stakeholders to obtain the most competitive technical quotation.
- Ensure quotations are delivered within agreed lead times and according to defined service levels.
- With direction from Segment managers, analyze costing, margins, pricing strategy, and commercial competitiveness.
- Support sales teams with pricing recommendations and quotation follow-up activities.
- Maintain accurate RFQ tracking and reporting within CRM tools.
- Drive continuous improvement in quotation processes and response efficiency.
- Escalate critical opportunities and risks when necessary.
- Project Management & Strategic Support
- Lead and coordinate strategic projects related to the supported business segments.
- Support implementation of commercial and operational improvement initiatives.
- Track project milestones, deliverables, timelines, and risks.
- Ensure alignment between strategic objectives and project execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred
- 2-5 years of experience in industrial product costing, project management, sales support, or similar roles.
- Experience in B2B industrial/manufacturing environments preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with CRM systems and reporting tools is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix and international organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
