JOB POST DESCRIPTION
As a NEUTRONICS ENGINEER at SGENIA INDUSTRIAL, you will be in charge of the development and implementation of instruments that use neutrons. Your daily tasks will include the research, design and optimization of neutronics technologies. This is a full-time position and will be carried out in person at our facilities in MADRID (Collado Mediano).

As a NEUTRONICS ENGINEER you will have the responsibility of participating in the development of our technological solutions for the future of energy: Nuclear fusion (www.iter.org).

What You’ll Do Day-To-Day :
Performs a variety of more complex engineering assignments typically in areas of design, development, analysis, testing, preparation of specifications and execution of neutronic field tasks
Ensures compliance with government regulations, organization, industry and customer engineering standards.
Independently evaluates, selects and applies a variety of techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgement in making more complex adaptations and modifications for tasks not previously performed.




Develops new or adapted products, methods, systems or models to provide added value solutions to customers.
Works on special projects on neutronics, as directed.
Provides suggestions for improving processes and implementing product innovations.

What You’ll Bring :
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Degrees in Physics, Engineering Technology and Engineering Science may also be accepted.
Ability to carry out technical analysis and research in nuclear and neutron energy projects.
Knowledge in Nuclear Engineering, and experience in the field of nuclear fusion will be valued
Knowledge of advanced technologies for neutronics is required
Knowledge of Monte Carlo simulation of neutron processes (MNCP or similar) will be valued.
Knowledge of national and international nuclear regulations will be valued.
Additional skills such as teamwork and the ability to innovate will be highly valued.
High level of spoken and writte
