Vacancy: Experienced Bookkeeper / Assistant Accountant – Seville

For the expansion of our team in Seville, Spain, we are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper / Assistant Accountant with demonstrable experience in Dutch bookkeeping and accounting.

Although you will be working from Spain, your client portfolio will mainly consist of Dutch entrepreneurs and companies. Your work will therefore be strongly focused on Dutch bookkeeping, VAT and accounting practices.

You will work closely with our colleagues in the Netherlands and will be responsible for independently maintaining, reviewing and assessing financial administrations.

What will you do?
Your responsibilities will include, among other things:
Independently maintaining and reviewing financial administrations
Processing and reviewing purchase and sales invoices
Processing and reconciling bank transactions
Reviewing general ledger accounts and suspense accounts
Preparing balance sheet specifications and reconciliations

Preparing periodic financial reports
Preparing financial administrations for the annual accounts




Identifying and correcting errors and inconsistencies in financial records
Reviewing outstanding accounts receivable and accounts payable
Processing journal entries and corrections
Assisting with the preparation of annual accounts and tax returns
Monitoring deadlines and progress within your own client portfolio

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who:
Has several years of relevant experience in bookkeeping or accounting
Is able to independently maintain and review a complete financial administration
Has experience with balance sheet reviews and general ledger reconciliations
Understands how a financial administration is prepared for annual accounts
Works accurately, independently and in a structured manner
Is able to take responsibility for their own client portfolio
Can independently identify and resolve errors and inconsistencies
Is comfortable working with different accounting an
