In this role you will lead high-voltage civil works for major data centre projects in Madrid, coordinating with clients, contractors and utility interfaces. You will guide HV substation design from concept through detailed design, ensuring safety, quality and regulatory compliance. You will act as the on-site client representative, managing multiple stakeholders and driving successful project delivery. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role at the intersection of engineering, commissioning and project controls, offering the chance to shape critical infrastructure for data centres.
Compensaciones / Ventajas
• Manage HV substation design activities from concept to detailed design (FEED to detail)
• Coordinate interfaces between HV infrastructure and facility power systems (generators, UPS, MSBs, switchgear)
• Support commissioning activities, SAP switching protocols, and IST
• Coordinate HV civil engineering packages for grid connection projects
• Act as on-site client representative with TSOs, DSOs,



EPCs and contractors
• Review designs, method statements, drawings and technical documentation
• Ensure adherence to regulations, safety, quality, and project specifications
• Monitor risks, change management, and progress reporting
Responsabilidades
• Degree in Engineering
• Strong background in HV substations, transmission/distribution or grid-related civil works
• Construction sector experience, ideally within a Data Centre
• Exposure to large-scale xqbhyrx complex projects and client collaboration
• Excellent stakeholder management
• Ability to manage multiple interfaces and stakeholders
• Experience in data centre projects is a strong advantage
• Fluent in Spanish and very good English
• Willingness to be on-site as required
