In this role you lead a distributed team of Simulation and Modeling Engineers to model complex lab workflows, optimize system throughput, and develop digital twins for virtual testing of automation systems. You will drive a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and accountability within SAIT, aligning with Roche's VACC leadership model. You enable architecture, Ru0026amp;D, and site planning through digital simulation to improve laboratory efficiency and decision-making. This is a hands-on leadership position that shapes the tooling, strategy, and execution of simulation platforms and end-to-end solutions. • Execution of strategic priorities: translate unit goals into actionable priorities and advance simulation platforms and emulation roadmap
• Vision and impact: shape departmental strategy, drive digital simulation as a core enabler for architecture, Ru0026D, and site planning
Responsabilidades
• University degree in a technical discipline
• 7+ years xqbhyrx in technical engineering roles, ideally in IVD, medical devices, or complex automation
• Strong experience with DES, System Dynamics, ABM, or digital twin/emulation software
• Advanced mathematical modeling and optimization knowledge
• 5+ years of leadership experience with proven coaching and team development
• Stakeholder and vendor management skills
• English fluent; Spanish or German is a strong advantage
