Base pay range
Here at La Casita de Inglés, we believe that learning should be fun! We teach English to children through games, arts & crafts, singing and dancing, theatre, yoga and baking! Almost all of the planning is provided for you, with teachers only having to tailor some of the ideas provided to them related to the topic of the week (outer space, sports, science, food, mindfulness, music, nature, etc.) to their specific groups. We don’t carry out exams and only require teachers to fill out progress reports every trimester. Classes are small and interactive, with a maximum of 8 children per class in our after-school programme (although this number can occasionally reach a maximum of 10 if students need to make up on any given week).

Tasks
Our after-school program generally runs from: Mondays-Fridays 17:30-19:30 (15€/hour after tax) and 11:00 - 13:00 on Saturdays (20€/hour after tax). It is not necessary to work every day, although we prefer you work with us for a minimum of 2-3 shifts per week.



There is also the option to work in our many camps and workshops that run throughout the year, as well as great opportunity for growth within the company: managerial roles, using hobbies or talents you may have to organize workshops or even joining us at our central office.
At the time we're starting to hire for next school year 2025/26. We have opportunities for permanent shifts in various of our 14 locations in Madrid for the upoming school year 2025/26. The majority of the shifts are for our after school (17:30-19:30 M-F) program, and Saturday mornings (11:00-13:00).
The following shifts will be available starting on the 8th of September 2025:
- Alcobendas: P.º de Fuente Lucha, 20, 28100 Alcobendas, Madrid
Monday 17:30-19:30 (15€/hour NET)
Saturday Home Circle 11:00-13:00 (20€/hour NET)
- Alameda de Osuna: C. Noray, 6, Barajas, 28042 Madrid
Tuesday & Thursday Home Circle 17:30-19:30 (15€/hour NET)
- Retiro: C. de José Sánchez Pescador, 10, Retiro, 28007 Madrid
Monday - Wednesday 17:30-19:30
- Sanchinarro: C. de los Padres Dominicos, 34, Hortaleza, 28050 Madrid
Tuesday & Wednesday Home Circle 17:30-19:30 (15€/hour NET) - takes place in a school called Caracola in Las Tablas, not in La Casita
- Getafe: Avenida de Chile 2A, esquina con, C. Pedro Almodóvar, 1, 28907 Getafe, Madrid
Tuesday 17:30-19:30 (15€/hour NET)
We're also always hiring substitutes. As a sub, you can work in any of our Madrid locations, with a 4 shift monthly minimum. Then, when we have new permanent shifts become available, we pull from the sub pool first.
Requirements
What we’re looking for: Fun, creative and enthusiastic teachers who love working with kids. You must also have at least six months of experience teaching or working with children in a professional capacity (not just babysitting or nannying, for example), as well as a perfect NATIVE English accent/C2 English certificate,
