As Head of Platform Infrastructure, you lead a DevOps, security-focused team delivering reliable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure. You own the internal platform and the customer-facing hosting surface, guiding architecture decisions and ensuring production readiness. You will launch a dedicated single-tenant hosting offering and drive IaC, CI/CD, and security practices across teams. This role shapes how Seqera scales its platform to support data-driven science at scale, with a strong emphasis on cost discipline and observability. You’ll work closely with executives and engineers to foster a high-impact, open-source–friendly engineering culture.
Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Own reliability, security, and cost-effectiveness of cloud infrastructure and platform health
• Lead the technical launch of the dedicated single-tenant hosting offering
• Own Helm charts and Terraform provider as products (versioned, documented, tested)
• Own CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and production deployment pathways
• Make cloud cost an engineering discipline with measurable savings
• Lead security posture through design reviews and security storytelling for customers
• Own formal incident response, including runbooks,



severity definitions, and blameless postmortems
• Define production-ready standards (tests, observability, docs, runbooks) and enforce them
• Grow and develop the Platform Infrastructure team, including senior engineering hiring and mentoring
• Partner with engineering, product, and customer-facing teams to embed infrastructure expertise in early decisions
Responsabilidades
• Led infrastructure, platform, or SRE teams with production reliability accountability
• Deep Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform experience in enterprise settings
• Shipped infrastructure that customers deploy and operate themselves
• Strong security xqbhyrx depth with ability to lead security architecture discussions
• Cloud cost as an engineering responsibility with buildable cost models
• Built incident response programs for complex customer infrastructure incidents
• Comfortable working with senior engineers and presenting to leadership and customers
• Strong documentation and standardization mindset
• Comfortable with ambiguity and defining platforms from scratch
