As Category Manager Indirect, you will design and drive global sourcing strategies for assigned indirect categories to deliver cost efficiencies and value across Straumann’s global footprint. You will work with cross-functional teams and business units to ensure end-to-end execution, mitigate supply risks, and leverage market intelligence to inform decisions. You’ll build category expertise, identify improvement opportunities, and lead supplier negotiations and performance management. This role offers impact at scale in a fast-changing, global environment with a focus on sustainability and innovation.

• Develop and refine global category strategies aligned with Straumann’s business strategy

• Assess supply and market risks and define mitigation plans to ensure continuity and resilience
• Analyze supplier markets and provide actionable recommendations based on market intelligence and cost drivers
• Build deep category expertise and stay abreast of market and technology trends
• Lead cost efficiency and supplier consolidation efforts and drive innovation through strategic sourcing
• Define and execute strategic sourcing initiatives using digital tools, including RFP processes and supplier selection
• Manage supplier performance and implement a yearly communication plan with strategic suppliers
• Track supplier performance and ensure effective implementation of improvements

Responsabilidades
• Minimum 8 years in strategic procurement or category management
