As a .NET Payments Developer you will design, build, and maintain scalable payment services for millions of transactions. You’ll work with a cross-functional team across Europe to evolve Ryanair’s payment ecosystem, focusing on reliability, security, and a smooth customer experience. The role centers on integrating multiple payment providers and driving observability and operational excellence. This is a hands-on, high-impact opportunity within a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable payment services using .NET technologies and Agile methods
• Build and enhance integrations with payment providers, acquirers, gateways, and alternative methods
• Ensure reliability, performance, and security of high-volume payment systems
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Finance, and commercial stakeholders to define new capabilities
• Contribute to the architecture and evolution of Ryanair's payment ecosystem with a focus on scalability and observability
• Promote engineering best practices: code quality, automated testing, CI/CD
• Monitor and optimize payment flows to improve conversion and reduce failures
• Participate in technical reviews and solution design workshops with stakeholders




• Support adoption of new payment methods and emerging technologies across digital channels
• Foster continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team
Responsabilidades
• Strong experience developing enterprise applications using C# and .NET Core / .NET
• Experience building and supporting payment platforms, transaction processing, or fintech apps
• Experience integrating with third-party payment gateways and financial APIs
• Understanding of payment processing concepts: authorization, capture, settlement, refunds, chargebacks, reconciliation
• Experience delivering cloud-native microservices in AWS (ECS, EKS, SNS, SQS, Lambda, CloudWatch) is a plus
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, xqbhyrx and distributed systems
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices
• Strong automated testing skills (unit/integration)
• Ability to develop high-volume, customer-facing apps in fast-paced environments
• Excellent problem-solving and cross-team collaboration skills
