As Supplier Quality Manager, you lead a globally distributed team to ensure high-quality, sustainable materials and services for Hitachi Energy. You drive supplier qualification, quality processes, and cross-functional collaboration to sustain the supply base and meet safety and sustainability standards. You translate supplier perspectives into actionable improvements while partnering with Ru0026amp;D, Engineering, and Project Management. This remote Europe role blends strategic thinking with hands-on leadership to scale quality across the supplier network.

• Develop standardized supplier base management and quality training for deployment
• Drive supplier qualification processes and maintain ongoing supplier qualification/compliance
• Provide transparent quality and compliance updates to SCM leadership
• Ensure understanding and implementation of corporate quality processes
• Represent Voice of Supplier to safeguard long-term supplier base sustainability
• Coordinate with Ru0026D, Engineering, PM, and SCM to enable critical product qualifications (APQP, PPAP, FAI, FAT)




• Support SQEs in product qualification planning/execution and risk assessment documentation (PFMEAs, Control Plans, PFDs)
• Oversee prompt resolution of supplier Non-Conformances and drive process improvements
• Co-define supplier quality KPIs with global SCM and align with strategy
• Define targeted supplier site inspections based on risk profiles and integrate into QCPs/ITPs
Responsabilidades
• 7+ years in Quality Assurance, Supplier Quality, or Operations
• 3+ years in leadership within a matrixed, large-scale organization xqbhyrx
• Certified Lead Auditor (ISO9001 or similar)
• Six Sigma Green Belt
• Proficiency with APQP/PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, MSA, SPC
• Experience with 8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa, DMAIC methodologies
• Ability to lead and coordinate globally distributed SQEs across time zones
• Strong communication skills for executive reports and stakeholder presentations
• Ability to collaborate with Engineering, global category management, and project quality teams
• Experience in risk assessment and supplier NC remediation
