In this role you will drive cost control, budgeting, and schedule management for international energy projects. You will collaborate with engineering, procurement, construction, and project management to deliver on time and within budget while providing clear performance insights. You will shape forecasting, change impact analyses, and progress reporting to enable informed decisions and project success. This opportunity places you at the intersection of finance, planning, and operations within a rapidly scaling company focused on decarbonization.
Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Establish and maintain the project control budget and translate estimates into a cost control structure
• Prepare and issue cost control reports showing budget, commitments, actuals, accruals, forecast, and EAC
• Monitor outstanding commitments and identify potential future cost impacts
• Analyze deviations and trends; provide timely recommendations to Project Management
• Develop and maintain project cash flow forecasts and curves
• Support assessment of Change Orders and cost impact
• Support PO requests, commitments, and cost allocation with Procurement and Project Management
• Review progress certifications/invoices for alignment with contractual terms and budgets
• Perform budget reconciliations between Project Controls and Finance systems
• Coordinate with Finance on accruals, reclassifications, and journal entries
• Develop and maintain integrated baseline schedules with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, and PM teams




• Periodically update schedules with progress; revise forecasts, durations, sequencing as required
• Monitor critical paths and schedule risks; assist in mitigation plans
• Prepare project S-curves and earned value calculations
• Review contractor/supplier schedules for alignment; participate in progress meetings
• Develop and maintain the project operational report/dashboard and monitor KPIs and risks
• Prepare and issue weekly/monthly project reports describing status, trends, risks, and actions
Responsabilidades
• Degree in Engineering, business or finance
• Minimum 5 years in Project Controls, Cost Control, Planning u0026 Scheduling, or related roles in complex projects
• Fluent English (spoken and written)
• Strong understanding of project cost management (budgets, commitments, actuals, forecasting, accruals, change xqbhyrx management, cost reporting)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with ERP/financial management systems
• Experience with planning software (Primavera or Microsoft Project)
• Analytical, detail-oriented and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environments
• Strong communication and reporting skills; proactive and cross-functional collaboration
• Willingness to travel internationally and work on-site as required
