In this role you will strengthen Glovo’s Quick-Commerce Global Services by building and scaling the next-generation backend platform for groceries and other urgent daily needs. You will work with cross-functional teams across the Delivery Hero ecosystem to design robust services and resolve complex problems. The role emphasizes architectural decisions, mentorship, and delivering high-quality software in a fast-paced environment. This is a chance to influence global scale and reliability within a diverse, collaborative culture.

• Design and build scalable backend services and microservice architectures

• Contribute to onboarding and early-stage vendor integration

Responsabilidades
• 7+ years of backend software engineering experience
• Strong hands-on Java and/or Kotlin experience
• Experience designing scalable distributed systems and microservices
• Experience with event-driven architectures and message brokers xqbhyrx (Kafka, SNS/SQS, Google Pub/Sub)
• Exposure to observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog)
• Proven track record of leading technical initiatives and mentoring
• Strong English communication skills
