In this role you own the full lifecycle of a battery system within hybrid powertrains, from ideation to mass production and aftersales. You define the system roadmap and lead architecture, validation, and industrialisation, ensuring compliance with V-cycle and ISO 15288. You translate system requirements into specifications and drive cross-functional system engineering, sizing, simulation, and validation to deliver robust functionalities. This position offers influence across technology, quality, and cost in a collaborative, international environment.
Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Own battery system lifecycle from conception to production and aftersales
• Define and drive the system strategic roadmap balancing technology, quality, and cost
• Lead system definition, architecture, validation, and industrialisation activities
• Ensure development meets technical, regulatory, safety,



and performance requirements (V-cycle / ISO 15288)
• Translate system requirements into component and software specs, guiding system engineering teams
• Oversee system sizing, including simulation planning, validation, and testing
• Drive development of new system functionalities including risk analysis, integration, and validation
Responsabilidades
• 3+ years in system engineering for automotive electrical/electronic systems and hybrid powertrain development
• Bachelor in Electrical xqbhyrx Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or similar (Master’s a plus)
• Proficiency with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS) and system modeling (SysML/MBSE)
• Strong experience in system integration u0026 validation (MIL, SIL, HIL) and functional safety analysis
• Knowledge of the automotive sector and the Horse Powertrain business
• Excellent command of English and Spanish (spoken and written)
