In this role you will identify, assess and reduce IT and cybersecurity risks across Eurofins’ European businesses. You will conduct independent risk assessments with IT, security and business teams and help drive resilience initiatives, including phishing simulations. You’ll travel regularly (35–50%) to engage laboratories and regional teams. You’ll translate technical findings into business risks, produce clear reports and support remediation. This is your chance to help safeguard critical testing operations at scale within a general leader.

• Plan and conduct IT and cybersecurity risk assessments across laboratories, regional infrastructure and central IT services
• Evaluate technical and organizational controls in areas like network security, IAM/MFA, endpoint security, vulnerability management, cloud, logging, backup and IT resilience
• Identify weaknesses and assess potential business impact
• Challenge existing security implementations where needed
• Translate findings into business risk and actionable recommendations
• Produce high-quality assessment reports and present results to technical teams and management
• Follow up on remediation actions and verify risk reduction
• Contribute to ongoing improvement of IT risk assessment methodologies
• Maintain strong relationships with IT, security and business stakeholders
Responsabilidades
• 3-7 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, information security, IT risk, IT audit or related technical IT control function
• Experience performing IT risk assessments, security assessments or technical IT audits
• Strong understanding of risk management and cybersecurity principles
• Solid technical background in networking, IAM/Entra ID, endpoint security, vulnerability management, cloud security, SIEM/logging, backup and disaster recovery
• Ability to understand technical architectures and discuss risks credibly with xqbhyrx engineers
• Strong analytical skills; ability to distinguish material risks from minor issues
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
• Willingness to travel frequently across Europe
• Knowledge of NIS2, EU data protection and common cybersecurity frameworks is advantageous
• Education and certifications aligned with role (degree in relevant field or equivalent experience)
